The community dialogue segment of the festival brings together activists, writers, academicians, filmmakers e.t.c. to engage in a discussion around a topic pertinent to the issues surrounding women of color.

Celebrating Josephine Baker: Exploring black female sexuality in the global imagination with panelists from the community with the screening of a documentary about Josephine Baker
Confirmed panelists are Peri Frances of Alliance Francaise and collector and curator N. Louise Willingham . Post screening discussion will be led by Librarian Ms. Hunter which will include discussions around Josephine Bakers life in Paris, African American expatriates in Paris, black female sexuality in the European imagination, and Q and A with the audience.
